Lush haul for sensitive skin!!!

Hey guys :)

So recently Ive been having a bit of a skin drama!!Ive always had a bit of dermatitis, and being a fiery red head my skin is always sensitive but recently its been a nightmare. After a while trying to convince my GP that its not just a bit of ezema I was refered for allergy testing.

Turns out I'm allergic to Linalool, Limonene, Citral and Famesol. Wow what a lot of mouthfuls and whats worse, they are in everything from soaps, shampoos and shower gel to toothpaste, essential oils and fabric contioner!

I am trying to see the bright side in that now I know what the problem is I can use products that dont have these ingredients in it, the only problem is its in almost everythig.

Lukilly last week in lush with the help of the lovely Steph who works in the Dundee store I managed to find a few products I can use!!!

Firstly Celestial Moisturiser
£11.75 for 45g

I love this moisturiser as my skin has gotten so sensitive even e45 cream can sting! This just feels cool on my face and doesn't burn. It doesn't have much of a smell, just smells fresh and feels fab. Packs loads of moisture into my dry skin and I love it!!

Next I got a Pink Fun bar
£5 per bar

The fun bars are pretty much what is says on the tin, FUN!!! You can mould it into different shapes and play with it as well as fash. You can use it in the shower or the bath or even to wash your hands and you can use it on your hair or body!! This is PERFECT for holiday goers as its an all in one. This pink one smells like sweets and is just fab!!!

The last thing I got was Rock Star Soap
£3.40 for 100g bar

YUM is all I can say, this soap reminds me of the gorgeous smelling snow fairy and the only way i can describe the smell is it smells pink!!! So yummy and is great in the shower instead of a shower gel!

Hope you liked this blog and i hope it helps some of you beauties out there with sensitive skin!!! What do you think? Do you have any allergies or sensitivities? Have you found anything that helps?

Here is a parting note, if you dont want your lush stuff to go mushy in the shower pop them in a tupper wear dish!!!

How to glitter tipped nails

Before any nail art look it is recommended to file your nails to the desired shape and length then soak your fingertips in warm water to soften you cuticles. Use an orange wood stick to push back your cuticles then you will have the perfect base to start on.

11    What you will need
Base coat
Top Coat
Nail polish colour of your choice
fine glitter of your choice
Cotton wool disks
Orangewood stick
Nail File
Make-up or artist brush

2.       Apply basecoat to clean dry nails, starting with a stroke of the brush down the centre of the nail, then a stroke either side to ensure even coverage.

3      Apply two coats of your chosen colour of nail polish in the same fashion as above.

4      Dip your make-up/ artist brush into the pot of glitter and use it to gently place glitter on the tip of your nail. Re-dip your brush into the glitter and hold it above your nail. Tap the brush so that some glitter falls onto the nail to give a faded graduation.

5       Apply 2 coats of top coat to prolong the life of your nails.

6       Finished look
