New Airbrush Make-up Before And After Pictures

Hello everyone :)

Ive decided to do another blog post with before and after photographs of the airbrush make-up. These images have been taken by myself on my camera and come straight from the camera onto this blog. There has been no editing or skin retouching so you get to see exactly how the make-up looks on the skin.

This gorgeous lady came for a make-over photo shoot with us and when asked what her favourite part of the experience was she said:
"Having my hair and make up done. (I love feeling pampered)"
When asked what she thought of her hair and make-up styling she said:
"It was very natural and girl next door like. I was happy with this as I am not an all out glam person. I spend most of my time without makeup and like to glam up with a more natural makeup look rather than smokey eyes and dark lipstick."

Nicole came and got hair and make-up styling for a photo shoot, here is what she thought:

Jillian made me so relaxed and talked me through what she had in mind for the make-up. She took on board that I was after a natural make-up. I was so happy with the finished look. Jillian used airbrush make-up for the foundation and it was a great experience. It goes on amazing and the finished result is flawless. The make-up lasted for hours and I didn't need to reapply or do any touch ups. As you can see from the before and after pictures the airbrush foundation creates the perfect end result. I would highly recommend this method of application.
"

Beth Wanted a flawless finish with smudgy smokey eyes, She is such a natural beauty that I wanted to show off her perfect skin and bring out her striking eyes.
This is what she had to say:
"I absolutely loved being pampered and made up by Jillian, you did a wonderful job of my hair and make up, made me feel like a superstar."

Amy has an AMAZING hair colour, so when she came in for a boudoir shoot I just had to team up teal and blue eyes and lips to match.
Here is what she had to say about her hair and make-up styling:
"The hair and makeup was really lovely. I had an alternative look with blue lipstick, it was amazing. I’ve actually been looking for the lipstick colour Jillian used. The airbrushing was quick and really effective. The makeup lasted all day, I could have worn it out as well if I was going out at night. I would definitely recommend getting the hair and makeup experience along with the photo shoot."

These two gorgeous bridesmaids were kind enough to let me do a before and after image of their make-up on the day of the wedding. both have went for a really subtle look to let their natural beauty shine through.

The beautiful Laura wanted a really natural and flawless make-up look with curly hair. Here is what she said:
"I LOVED the airbrush make up! It lasted all day and night, I would recommend it to anyone. It felt so light on my skin and the amount of people who complemented me on my complexion was crazy. I wish I could have my hair and makeup done everyday!"

Hope you enjoyed these make-ups. I wanted to show a wide range of women of all different ages having different styles of make-up.

Hope you have enjoyed.

The Beautiful Susan's Wedding make-up

I absolutely loved doing make-up for this gorgeous brides wedding :) Susan was such a delight to work with and her whole bridal party were so much fun :)

Both Susan and her mum came for a make-up trial so we could try out different looks and find the best look for them. It was Susan's hen night so she got to make use of her gorgeous make-up and test it out to see if it would hold up to dancing and last all night :)

Susan said "I just wanted to say how much I loved my make up on Saturday - it looked amazing in photos! I loved the pink lipstick you used and I'm so excited to see it (on the wedding day) and know you'll do such a fab job."

How To Clean Your Make-up Brushes

Hello all,

Today I'm doing a quick blog about washing/ cleaning your make-up brushes! Its so important to keep your make-up brushes clean as oil, dirt and bacteria can build up in them which will not be doing your skin any favours. Also old make-up will build up in the brushes so you wont get a flawless application and colours can get muddied together.

Every one is going mad for the new brush cleaning mitts, devices and the like, and lets face it this one here from Sigma looks just amazing, but at about £30 it can be a bit pricey for some. So I have found a really cheap alternative.
I found this silicone coaster in The Range for £1 and its just so perfect for cleaning brushes!!! For full instructions keep reading :)

What you will need:
-Dirty make-up brushes
-Silicone ridged coaster
-Baby Shampoo
-Bowl or Dish
-Towel

Pour some baby shampoo into your dish.

dip your brush into the bowl and pick up some baby shampoo.

I like to splash a very small amount of water onto the brush to help the shampoo foam,
then swirl the brush around on the mat for 10-20 seconds depending on how dirty your brush is.

Rinse all of the shampoo out of the brush then squeeze all of the excess water out.
If you find your brush is still dirt just repeat the above steps and wash it again.

Once all of your brushes are washed place them on the towel.
You want to put them somewhere that the bristles can over hang like the edge of a table or unit, this helps the brustles to air dry.

I really hope this was useful for you all :) Have fun cleaning your brushes. Does anyone use anything different? Id love to hear from you.
